I work as a backend-focused fullstack developer. I can help you with the following areas:

• Backend development I design and build scalable backend systems and microservices that handle complex, high-throughput workloads reliably.
• Web app development I build fast, modern web applications end to end — from React/Next.js frontends to the APIs and infrastructure behind them.
• AI & data I explore and apply AI and deep learning to real problems, including published work on computer vision, and help teams add AI-driven features to their products.
• DevOps & maintenance I set up CI/CD, containerized deployments and monitoring, and keep existing systems running smoothly with ongoing support.

I work with startups and small businesses alike. I have built systems for everything from a solo hockey club website to production microservices serving millions of users, and I tailor the approach to the size and needs of the project. I can also take over an existing codebase, and after launch I offer support, monitoring and maintenance.

I most often work with Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, React, Next.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Docker. A more detailed overview is on the services page.
